Hi everyone! I am a beginner sound designer and composer for video games, videos, and animations.

Currently, I am working on my portfolio. I don’t want to redesign existing finished games, which is why I’m looking for interesting and unique indie projects. I believe that if I’m doing some work for free, it would be great if someone could use it for their benefit. If you are a game developer and your project needs sound effects or music, I would be glad to help!

It’s absolutely free. You can use all the sounds in your final project, or at least as temporary placeholders. All I ask is permission to use your game in a short clip (15-30 seconds) with my sound design as part of my portfolio. If you are interested, please contact me! I would need a brief description of your game, a video clip (it could be UI, gameplay, or a cutscene), and specifications of how you envision the sound design.

Not really.

I do poke around in an open source remake of the old ThemeHospital commercial game which could use free and open sounds/music, but that may be too much “finished” to your taste.

I just thought to mention the option. In my experience, there are always enough programmers, but much less designers in graphics, UI, sounds, and music. Compared with Indies, I think it's likely a different world. Little pressure to finish before a deadline, no problems in publishing and re-using your work elsewhere, lots of room to be creative.
