Advice to convert Excel to online game

Hi,

I've created a “business game” in Excel and looking for advice on how to elevate the experience using an online platform. I've sniffed around, but thought i would ask here.

Essentially there is a grid that teams traverse from.one corner to the next. Each square contains something they might get or give. Depending on what they have, it will dictate how long in game time it takes to move from one square to another.

I would like a visual dashboard that shows different teams placement on the game board (by colour or icon).

The game is controlled by a single point of contact in the room, so it doesn't need multiple players at once.

So, the question is, is there anything simple that does this, or am I heading down a specific developer route?

Cool idea yo! I'd say start with free or low-code tools like Airtable or Notion-they could do a visual board kinda thing. If you want custom animations or complex mechanics, then yeah, a dev might be the way. You thinking browser-only or app too?

@Fedelinn hanks, i'll check them out. It is just for browser (at this stage anyway). However, the spreadsheet relies on many calculations and conditional formatting to make it work
