What is Virtua?

Virtua is an online browser based building toy that I've been developing for a week or so now. Inspiration was taken directly from Roblox. You can build your own place, and customize it to your liking. You can also play other people's places, and it's online multiplayer so you might encounter other people!

Planned Updates

In the coming days, weeks, and months, I plan on adding first and foremost gear (in-game items such as tools and weapons to be incorporated into user places) as that will be the simplest feature to implement on the list. Runtime C# scripting is next, and the Roslyn compiler Unity asset I plan on using needs to be tweaked to work in the web browser. Guilds are up after that, followed by premium membership monetization so you can earn currency to purchase the items already in the Marketplace. Follow my blog for more additional updates!

rossco games who was first MineCraft or Roblox? It seems logical to use the original as term of comparison against a clone/derivative (rather then a clone against another clone). You need major differences in the clone (Roblox) to make it a valid term of comparison. Am I saying something biased?

@Calin Roblox came out in 2006, while Minecraft came out in 2009. Roblox precedes Minecraft by ~4 years. Anyway, they are completely different feeling games in my mind and many people's at least.

If thing are indeed the way you say they are then my bad. I do have to say I head nothing about roblox prior to 2010 (or after that for that matter), I also recall Minecraft being all over Internet in that era. I`m not saying I was the most informed person but I wasn`t absolutely out of touch with things going on either.

This seems cool but the player won't load for me.

@Haikidev Load times are long, especially on Chrome.
