Object capacity

I post to understand. I little more about objects and thier capabilities. Do multiple objects need to be scripted in order to execute for example

2 d6 randomizer (considered an attack) against a defendants 2d6 (defense). Say the attack is greater by 4 points and they have 2 armor (a reducer of damage taken) therefore they would take 2 damage after calculation.

Also I'm using gadot and if there's a video series or guide you can refer me to regarding combat in a turn based team builder it would be greatly appreciated.

Im barely beginning to grasp what i want to accomplish and if there are experienced coders interested in becoming a part of this project please feel free to reach out.
