Where should I start when porting C++ to C#?

Hello. I am porting a PlayStation 1 game, SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge, which had its source code leaked in 2016 to Unity. I am wondering what would be a good starting point? I've already tried some of the player code, however it relies on a whole lot of other headers. Should I prioritize certain things?
