Hi, I am currently a college student studying to become a Game Developer. ~$700 per month (Thai salary.)

How many hours do you work?
40.

What did you learn outside of school that was useful?
Everything.  I dropped out of school and am fully self-taught.  I learned math along the way, I learned programming via my own projects, etc.

How did you get your job and how hard was it to find it?
I moved to Thailand, missed my plane back home (intentionally), got a temporary job teaching English to hold me over until I finally got a game-development job.

How was this job different than you expected it to be?
It wasn’t very different.  The boss was more human than expected.
