intel already tried to make a gpu. they failed badly. koduri had very bad standing at amd after his last design had no great success

on the market => he had to leave. knights series is fully canceled. dont believe in any roadmaps for dummies. the distance to accl. of any sort is too big for intel and arm is entering the intel domain. dont bet on them any longer !

If you're talking about Larrabee then it wasn't exactly a failure, in fact it was the basis of the Xeon Phi.
