PC counts too!

Great answers guys! :) It's cool to see what the community consists of.

The first console I owned was a pong machine from a yard sale. So I guess my preferred game on the pong console would be pong.

My first computer was a BBC-B, 32Kb, 6502 8bit CPU processing at a whopping 2MHz.

The first game I still remember was a platformer called Monsters, a BASIC program, entered from a magazine.

One of the early commercial games was Elite

First console was an Atari (can't remember the model number). Pretty much the only game I played a lot on it was Pacman.

"What kind of games do you/your company specialize in?" -> Other -> All of the above, plus some not mentioned such as FarmVille clones :)

First PC was a Commodore 64, and I loved games like Defender of the Crown and Super Giana Sisters.

Sim city, SNES

Would I even count as a game developer if I've never worked on an actual game up until right now?

My favorite game I've ever played on is most likely Age of Mythology, an RTS spin-off of the Age of Empires series on PC. Twas a fantastic game. Beautiful, fun to play, and it had hydras in it. And the soundtrack was awesome too.

The Snek that runs the Plek.

- Ametuer Music Composer

- Fledgling Writer

- Ambitious Game Designer

In short, I suck.

Other games: puzzles. It's quite common thing, it should be added to the poll (or the casino thing replaced with it)

The intentions of the poll was to gauge what the community consists of, so interest enough to bring you here validates your votes in my book!

@szecs, I added puzzles to the list!

First system was an Atari ST; I think Elite was my favourite on that.
