So... Slicer...

0: You heard the theme right? Death is useful. And you made a farming game? :P

For the most part the judging criteria are exactly like mine, but it looks like slicer took some rephrasing liberties. My original version said ...and you made a Sudoku game? I thought about phrasing it exactly like that to take a friendly jab at rithamus for last year's entry, but I wasn't sure that I knew him well enough for friendly jabs to be interpreted that way. :)

Eck, that wasn't what I was getting at lol. I was reffering to last years week of awesomeness.

"The code you write when you learn a new language is shit.
You either already know that and you are wise, or you don’t realize it for many years and you are an idiot. Either way, your learning code is objectively shit." - L. Spiro

"This is called programming. The art of typing shit into an editor/IDE is not programming, it's basically data entry. The part that makes a programmer a programmer is their problem solving skills." - Serapth

"The 'friend' relationship in c++ is the tightest coupling you can give two objects. Friends can reach out and touch your privates." - frob

Will the judges write any notes on our games, or will they only give scores?

We'll try to write a paragraph or two per game.

However, they will be written in classical latin, making sure to use as many words as possible that we haven't yet discovered the translations for.

I don't know if it matters. But Anna on my team was not able to participate at all. So she doesn't need to be on the team list. If we win I don't want to be forced to share any of the winnings with her... even though she is my wife.

hey guys, I put my game in the Game Jolt, and it's on the home page biggrin.png ... you guys can rate there and help, please <3

Congratulations! That is amazing you hit the front page hope to get some time to play your game. When I check it was in the first slot so that makes it an even hotter game today.

@slicer, I checked and you our team had 0 twitter posts. All the other teams didn't have this as a mark so did I miss something?

This was an amazing week and it was nice to share it with all the competitors. I've jotted down a postmortem for our project that I wrote this morning.

This truly was a week of awesome to see so many games grow into something we could play. Good luck everyone and hope to see more games being built this year because of this competition. Win or lose I don't care because the experience was more important then anything else. Thanks Slicer for organizing this event and reading tallying up all the posts which is no small feat for the number of teams and posts.

Ah, yes i was going to track twitter posts which used #gdnjam. But by half way through the week, i think 2 people used it, so i just deceided to drop that metric(but forgot to delete from your post it seems)
Check out https://www.facebook.com/LiquidGames for some great games made by me on the Playstation Mobile market.

All these people with crossposts... WHERE DID YOU FIND THE TIME?!

Great job compiling this list! Makes it so much easier to catch up on everything. And I intend to download an play each and every game and read each journal post.

This Week of Awesome was my first but it has been a great experience.

However, the link for my game points to the release candidate, that is not the final game.

It is also missing one of my journal entries. And my title screen image, don't know if that counts? :-)

Actually I made 18 journalposts for WOA3 on my site darkdroid.com but it's my own fault that I didn't remember to announce them all here. :-)

But if you still want to read all 18 you can find them on http://www.darkdroid.com

The post announcing the final game looks like this:

EDIT: Gotta love it, found a bug 2 minutes after uploading, an entirely new bug, menu music no longer playing...

But NOW it should work. :-)

Btw I changed the link with this edit, so please download the latest version.

I had uploaded the wrong verison (To be exact, I compiled a version, but forgot to update the ZIP file) I changed the file behind the link to the newer one, so now, so I hope its okay. (You can check that no code has changed since the end of the competition)

Does this mean you're wanting to use a version that wasn't uploaded/linked at the end of the competition?

Hello to all my stalkers.
