My third post. (I'm really not trying to be spam-y).

http://aletheiagamestudio.com/week-of-awesome-3-getting-started/

Just FYI I tend to post more during the thinking phase. So I'm post a bunch today and tomorrow but the last few days will probably be only one post a day.

I will be posting my progress here: http://darkdroid.com/

I will soon put up a picture of the protagonist - Death himself! wub.png ph34r.png

Good luck everyone! I'm going to have to skip this year's Week of Awesome competition because of real life. Bleh. tongue.png

But I'd still like to help. I'm in the process of publishing my free Auto Save - Editor Extension for Unity, but I don't think my asset page is going to be approved before the Week of Awesome III runs its course. I'd like to make this available to you guys and gals before then. The extension just saves your scene and assets any time you run your scene. Here's a dropbox link to it:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/51ot1iote9xhrz5/EckTechGames_AutoSave.unitypackage?dl=1

Instructions:

1. In Unity, go to Assets->Import Package->Custom Package and import that file.

2. There is no step 2. You're done! Get back to work!

Now instead of tearing your hair out for losing hours of work and cursing yourself for not clicking the save button first, you can take the time to fill out the Unity bug report, restart Unity, and get back to work.

If you run into any issues, email ecktechgames@gmail.com. If you want to say thanks, hit my journal entry and leave a comment:

I just started a journal. http://www.gamedev.net/blog/2103-differentnames-journal/

Hopefully I'll have time to redo these:

Radiant Verge is a Turn-Based Tactical RPG where your movement determines which abilities you can use.

Got the basic level routine going, plus objects. Had a (hopefully) neat idea for the GUI so worked on that instead of the real stuff. It did come out quite nifty though :)

Whoa, just returned from the office and stumbled upon this Mysterious Theme. Hope to think of something pretty touching by morning.

Hello to all my stalkers.

Cue impaled and roasted bunnies....

So what happens when that bunny collects all those carrots? Does an anvil come falling down loony tunes style? It really looks like it's going to be one of those games designed to give you mood whiplash, by pretending to all cutesy at first.

Also here's part 1 (which is actually the second entry) about the week of awesome on my journal:

I haven't got any screenshots yet, because I'm tracking down a rendering bug at the moment. The movement is working fine however.

Well, squished bunnies wouldn't be useful now.

Unless you needed them for something else :)
