I'm thinking about making a wiki on wikia for people who want to make voxel games.

I'm thinking of making the front page look like this:

So, you want to make a voxel game?
Well, it's going to be hard.
very hard.

But, this wiki is going to make it easier.
This wiki contains anything from rendering a cube to releasing your game and anything in between!
This wiki uses Java/LWJGL, and assumes that you have a lot experience with both.
If you don't, then check the java official tutorials

or the LWJGL wiki

Tell me what you think? Should I or shouldn't I?

Or, do you want to help me with this?

Please Reply!

Imagine all the people

Livin' life in peace...

Well, let's start here:

Who are you?
What is your background?
How much programming experience do you have?
Graphics programming experience?
Game development or software development experience?
Have you written a game from scratch?
Have you written any technical articles?
Who is your audience?
What do you know of voxel rendering techniques?

If you don't know what you're doing, -- and I'm assuming you do not, judging by a quick glance of your YouTube videos and your phrasing of "[building a generic voxel game] is going to be [very] hard" -- then you most definitely should not write any tutorials. Otherwise, it'll just be you regurgitating some shit tutorial you found, just like 85% of all the tutorials out there already.

Write a development blog instead.

Try writing several Journal Entries on the subject to see how much interest there is.
