Kinda funny that not a single one of your shout outs is still around.
Andre Lamothe used to be part of this site? I learned pretty much everything I know about Win32 from that guy's books!

I'm sorry about any spelling or grammar mistakes or any undue brevity, as I'm most likely typing on my phone

You might be surprised at the number of big-ish names that visit the site and are regular contributors.
I knew about h+ and his tools for NAT punchthrough. Then several years ago there was a new networking forum on the site, moderated by the same h+.
Sometimes I read things on news groups about projects becoming successful and think back, wasn't that person asking about something on the site a few years ago?
I remember one individual (not naming him because a few years back he asked me not to) who came in originally asking very basic questions about how computers work and what programming is all about. Five years later he was leading a successful startup.
Also, several people on the site (including me) have written books and published papers. Many of us also work professionally in games and have a collection of game credits.

Maybe we should have an (opt-in of course) hall of fame :)
