why down votes ?!
I can't answer for the person who did it, but my guess would be because you started repeating yourself without saying anything new.
... sorry, couldn't stop myself.
why down votes ?!
i will be better than him !
That should not be your goal - if you set your goal, instead, to be "good" when you evaluate yourself, and not by comparing yourself to others, you will, at that point, be better than him. And, at that same moment, being better than him will no longer matter.
If you want to be judged according to someone else's standards - get married.
Please don't PM me with questions. Post them in the forums for everyone's benefit, and I can embarrass myself publicly.
You don't forget how to play when you grow old; you grow old when you forget how to play.
why down votes ?!
As LennyLen pointed out, it is more than likely due to your constant fixation on stating that you want to be better than someone. I've been programming in some form for 20 years now and I would be willing to bet that LennyLen and many others on here are better than me at programming and that is fine because I enjoy programming and don't feel it is a competition to be better than anyone else. As I stated in my other post, you are making it clear that you are wanting to learn for all the wrong reasons. I started learning C++ because I wanted to make video games not to be better than someone else. The same is true for every language I've learned and am learning (C, C#, Java, Javascript, Ada, Pascal, COBOL, Fortran, etc.) I am learning them because I want to learn them and not due to a petty thing like being better than someone that uses them.
Learn them and stop worrying about being better than someone else.
Or, people could be down-voting just because they can. It happens quite often on the internet, especially on youtube.

In this case, I don't think so. I looked through the history of the person that did the down-voting, and there is no past pattern of this behaviour, which you would expect from a serial down-voter.

I wasn't talking about serial down-voters, but it's off-topic so nevermind. Although I thought it was funny to predict that I'd get a down-vote myself, just for bringing it up. Oh well.
Goddamnit I accidentaly downvoted your post on my phone.i will be better than him !

Late? Not even close. In fact, I'd encourage you not to forget to be a kid either.
Lots of times, avid programmers who start at a young age find themselves buried in learning all this information that is at our finger tips and we forget to be kids and have fun and do the stuff kids do. One day, that "me" time won't be as prevalent as responsibilities take hold and you start a family and begin in the workforce.
So cherish your time wisely. If you want to learn how to program, networking or whatever. Do it for you and not anyone else. Do it because you want to and not because you feel compelled to prove your self worth to someone else. But as with anything, moderation and don't forget to have fun along that journey!
