For movies you would definetly wanna see Terminator and T2 again (you HAVE seen them righ?!). Also check out Strange Days. It was directed by Katryn Bigelow, but the story treatment was written by James Cameron.

And of course The Matrix which is very cyberpunkish.

And as Tacit mentioned, you NEED to get Cyberpunk 2020 by R. Talsorian. There''s a new edition coming out (finally) very soon (but I don''t know when), so keep a lookout for that. You can look them up at www.talsorian.com if my memory serves me rightly.

Try doing a search on the net for Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk RPG. You''ll find these guys (like me ) to be pretty resourceful.

Also, besides from Ghost in the Shell (which you should get the manga of, even though the anime is best IMO) and Akira, a lot of people rave about Bubblegum Crisis, so that might be worth checking out.

What else... Well that''s mostly it I guess. Although I''ll just end with a few links for you to look over. I''ve been digging them up over the last 6 months while doing research for my own game design.

And then there was this really really cool science fiction writing handbook that has now been taken down If anyone can find a cached copy of that, please let me know!

Hope you find that useful.
