It is a nice document for a programmer (I would be very happy if I recieved something like this and was told to code the game or write a storyline for this), but it is lacking from the designer's perspective. There is no introduction describing what kind of game it is. What is unique. Why players would want to play this game instead of thousands other platformers. Who is the target audience. Etc.

The controls are terrible. It is not an interface for a platformer for kids but heavy RTS/strategy/RPG for the most hardcore maniacs. WASD + mouse (and if you really have to SHIFT/CTRL), that's all you can use, otherwise it is not a playable platformer.
