Hi Guys,

I'm at uni in the UK and the Blitz game academy open day's are coming up for students, I signed up and was given an audio brief. I completed it the other day I thought it would probably be a good idea to share with you guys get some critical feedback before I here back from Blitz.

The brief was game-play footage focusing on ambient sounds, spot effects and Foley placed suitable within the environment it was around 60% generated sounds to 40% sampled

Thanks and Happy New Year to all on gamedev forum's
While I like many of the sounds you put in this video I feel that there could be more layers of sounds happening. Basically it felt like there were gaps between events where little to no sound was happening. Also the explosions could be much heavier with more impact. I like that you put in human effort sounds but there needs to be more as this is a very dramatic clip and if anyone was actually doing all of this there would be much more breathing, grunts and other human sounds. But all in all a very nice effort! I would take this as a foundation and look for what other ways you can add even more sounds to make it as immersive as possible. Basically to the point where the audio could tell the whole story by itself.

Thanks for sharing!
