Sorry if my terminology isn''t exact, I''m not exactly a music expert. I was wondering if some company out there makes a cheap piano keyboard that will hook up to the MIDI port on my computer. I don''t really want it to have it''s own synthesizer, as it will only be used on the computer. I have a nice Yamaha digital piano for regular playing, but it''s too awkward to move everytime I want to goof off on the computer. I''m a starving student so obviously I''m not going to go out and pay another $500 for a keyboard that''s only going to be used a little bit. I''ve checked out a few sites for the major companies (roland, casio, and afew others), but they don''t seem to have what I want. Micah
If I''m not all wrong (which is indeed possible) Yamaha( I''m not quite sure tough), got a modell that is x-actly what yoú''re lookin'' for. It''s a small white keyboard, a cheap muther, which does not have any synth.

I''ll check the brand and modell up for you, just wanted you to know that there is such a keyboard..

Fatar CMK37

It''s a 37-key midi controller for $79, this includes a cable to hook up to your pc.
