Me and a few friends are messing around with some game development in flash and are having a hard time getting graphic artists on board. I heard about programs like Poser where it comes pre-loaded with "people" and you can modify their body-shape, hair, clothes, etc etc. This is nice and all, but we're not looking to use 3d just yet and was wondering if their was a similar program that people like us(lacking graphic skills) could use to generate 2d characters, animals, whatever,.. then modify them to fit our needs and export to flash. Does such a program exist?
