For some reason when I send socket messages to a IP on my LAN it sends it to the internet instead of my LAN.. Is there a way to specify what net you want?

Make sure you are using local ip addresses.. i think they are
10.x.x.x and 192.x.x.x
10.x.x.x and 192.x.x.x

If you are using sockets, you should make sure you bind to your local ip address, and it should route the data through the appropriate network adapter.
