Magic?

Well, that's magical thinking. You see what you want to see.

From my part I don't see any skin teared off excepting the one that was pierced by the knife. And if it was teared off, I fail to see at which point in the video you can notice it's healed since at no moment the camera zooms again on the legs to show they are "intact".

Leaving the magical discussion apart, where does this ritual take place? It looks like some tribe from the pacific islands but I'm not sure.
Also, do you have any idea what religion it belongs too, or what kind of supernatural being they are invoking?

It is around 1:50 onward, the man broke the chicken legs. The legs were almost separated from the chicken.
I think the place is Cambodia. Don't know about religion though. Just a random video I found.
Can you explain this?

Watch the video for more information how they do this. There was a council to verify it too.

Um... balance?
Are you asking us to say "yes, magic is real, now be a good boy or santa won't come"?

WRONG!

It's MAgikz<s!
[size="2"]I like the Walrus best.

Just want to see how you react and what your opinions are with solid evidences. Because I don't believe so I come for a discussion, hopefully have something significant rather than "oh it's not science it's not real" or "it's counter physic so it won't exist regardless what happened in front of my very eyes"

Ok, I see a man who's very intimate with avian anatomy, who gets a kick out of torturing animals in weird ceremonies (the bird is NOT ok at the end of that performance), and a guy who's very good at balancing things along with decent showmanship. I don't really see where the magic comes in to it in the first place.

I find it much more interesting analyzing performers like Derren Brown, who are open about the fact that they're constantly being deceptive and are honest about fakery, while not revealing exactly how their 'magic' works.

Agreed. I'd also rather not know about their selling the soul to the devil, consorting with demons, and worship of the occult. Clearly that's how they perform their dark works that get international acclaim. unsure.gif

(Besides, if people knew the secrets the magical money would stop flowing in.)

That one isn't really interesting. There are so many ways to fake it that it doesn't even feel like an illusion.

This one, on the other hand, has only one way to be done and it's very very hard (impossible for me until I saw the explanation) to realize how it is done. It's the famous David Copperfield flying act. Even when you know how it's is done, is still amazing.

I figured it out watching the video. >_> Must work better in real life since you don't get the close up view with the camera.
