Most meaningful project has been a system to generate and process test data for experiments in international security intelligence processing. It even had a 2% success rate on correctly detecting planned suicide attempts (as in the general "My life sucks and it must end" type, not the "Take as many with me as I can") based on SMS processing. Given that our test data included a lot of high school drama queen input, I suspect such a system would have far better rates in the real world, and the vast majority of the error was due to false positives. (No, no rights were violated during the development of the project, and it is very unlikely such a system would ever be allowed to go live. It was developed purely on a demonstration basis, and if it were to go live, it uses an internal blinder system which makes it hard to recover private information outside of the proper channels.)
I'm currently seeking a career in game development QA.

What is your biggest most meaningful project in your career? Also what is your career?
Biggest in terms of impact on peoples' lives is probably this health benefits platform for small US-based businesses. Biggest in terms of code base is (by a very large margin) LucidChart, an HTML5 diagramming and wireframing app. I'm not sure what you'd call my career... "Serial software entrepreneur" is probably as close as it gets, though I'm most happy when I'm actually writing the code to solve an interesting problem, so maybe "Unstoppable ninja code monkey" is more fitting.
Moving thread to the Lounge, as it is not programming related.
To each their own. Some projects only seem small and with little meaning from the outside.
I am an intermediate software developer and the greatest(and nerve racking) thing in my career was writing two different 911 integrations for the VOIP company I used to work for.
Remember to mark someones post as helpful if you found it so.

I have 100% of the market share of lithium ion batteries powering electric vehicles on the PLANET!!!!! [size="1"]Too bad that planet is MARS. [size=2]
I program physics simulators in my spare time, that's why I am here. Attempted numerous games but my goals are always aimed too high.
