From a technical standpoint it is possible, and in my experience it works, albeit very poorly.

However, the Mac OS X EULA, last time I checked, explicitly forbids installing it inside a virtual machine. Therefore you do so at your own legal risk, and I really wouldn't recommend selling a game produced in this fashion.

* Note that Mac OS X Server is licensed differently, and that can be installed in a VM. OS X Server is not designed for developing iPhone applications, however.

Moving to the lounge.
Just get yourself a Mac Mini. Not too bad of price. Look on the Apple Refurbished site they have them now and then.

Can a Mac Mini do Wifi, and will it look okay if I bring it to Starbucks?

If you want a laptop go with the Macbook Air.

The Mac Mini, is just a "desktop" but a very very small one.

Where have you been the last decade? You are luck to see a non-Mac in an elitist coffee shop [smile]

I believe he means toting what is essentially a desktop computer (and required accessories...like a monitor...) into Starbucks.
VirtualBox 3.2/4.0 supports Mac OS X guests but 3d acceleration doesn't work. No idea about VMWare, but there is a large "Hackintosh" scene that attempts to run Mac OS X an regular PCs.

[OpenTK: C# OpenGL 4.4, OpenGL ES 3.0 and OpenAL 1.1. Now with Linux/KMS support!]
