That's clearly justifiable homicide.

the latin? americans are pretty much dominating the cup matches so far.
Disappointed the Aussies didn't convert all that offensive into another Goal. Now the only possible way to go through is to win against Serbia, and rely on Ghana beating Germany... Long odds from where I sit. Not impossible, just improbable.
I saw the second half of the Portugal-DPRK game.
All I can say is "Wow". I reckon the DPRK team should just defect and not go home, they won't be very popular.

In a way the score line was a real shame.
The first half I felt the NK team were a match for Portugal and looked the most likely to score. Then they had a moment of sleepyness and Portugal struck.
Even in the second half, where many other western teams would have gotten frustrated and started sending in rash challenges the NK team kept their heads, kept on playing with pride for their country.
Despite the score line its a shame that the people of NK probably won't get to see just how their team played because I think they did them proud.

7-0 Ouch! They aren't calling Group G the "group of death" for nothing. After Portugal's lackluster game against Ivory Coast, I thought NK would fare as well as they did against Brazil. Looks like the didn't have a chance. Ronaldo didn't score until the 87th minute but was still named "man of the match" (Match 30). Looks like the Portuguese are sending the Brazilians a message not to dismiss them out of hand. That game will be played Friday (and thankfully for me it will be starting at 7 am not 5 am). It's kind of weird but the Portuguese women in the stands look like my cousins! My father leaves tomorrow on a 10 day trip to the Azores. Going back to the old country for a spell...

What? Portugal hit the post once and had a badly judged offside where Hugo Almeida would be alone against the keeper. After the goal Portugal had 3 chances to score in the first half. Korea had a dangerous shot from far away and a rebound from a shot.
And by the way, the man of the match award is voted by the fans and was clearly unfair. Cristiano Ronaldo gave the award to Tiago who scored two goals and had at least one assist.

I'm azorian :), born and raised in São Miguel.
BTW, a lot of people seem to forget that Portugal is listed as one of the top 3 teams of all time. (FIFA site)
Carlos Queiroz is an ass if is starts to change the team.
