Hey I was wondering if some people could comment on my music. I'm still pretty new so it would be nice if I could get some advice from the more experienced. Here is my music:

I would like to note that the quality has been decreased since uploading it to myspace or using windows moviemaker. Please be sincere on your comments (I can take it!), but don't say something unless it is helpful.
The link you've posted doesn't actually go anywhere - I think that's just the linke to the "My Videos" section of your own account, which won't work for anyone else.

Do you have a direct link to the video? (it might be written somewhere else on the video page, in the way youtube normally does)

I feel stupid now, sorry for that I'm new with myspace so I wasn't really thinking. Thanks for pointing that out though. Here is the actual link (I hope).

Nice! I like that you have different moods in one song, which is awesome for queuing different parts in let's say, a video game!.

Good work, but the question is, can you precise "mood compose"... That means, if i request a certain mood, can you build the music for that? If you got that, then you should start doing contract work for game developers and even movies (although i'd expect they'd want less synth sounds, but it's a start!)

Cool, it's working now so I had a listen through.

I think the musical style is perhaps a little disjointed for a game - I can imagine the different musical textures distracting from the action itself a little bit. There's a strange balance we as composers need to achieve so that the music supports the action but doesn't overwhelm it.

With that in mind, I'd suggest toning down the dynamics a little bit so the music is a bit more consistent and doesn't jump out at the listener quite as much. I would also suggest adding some kind of melody over the top to tie it all together and make it more memorable - my favourite game scores are the ones I can hum when I pause the game to go and make a drink.

The synths are very evocative; their squelchy, wheezy sound puts me in mind of the Southern Swamp in Zelda: Majora's Mask. The techno elements are a bit more modern - fine if you're writing for a futuristic swamp, but if its a more traditional sound I'd go for some softer synths and textures.

Just my opinion there, hope that it helps!

Thanks for the great feedback I'll take it to heart.
