3dsmax texture.. recomendation.
Ok, now i have a model. What is the best method to apply a texture?.
1)draw the texture, then assign to uv-map.
2)draw the uv-map, then draw the texture over this.
In the step 2) i have some problems, there not are some uv-map exporter (at least for 3dsmax 4). Is good to copy the windows to clipboard, then paste it?.
In the step 1), there is good, or this give some "artifacts" in the texture?

Its pretty useless if not impossible to draw a texture before even laying out the uv mapping.
To export the uv mapping, you need a plugin called "texporter"... check the ressource section at http://www.polycount.com for it. Cut & pasting isnt very good.
