I saw an article which sparked an interest in nvidia ion. I am looking to get a new computer and am leaning towards this one.The HP Mini 311. Since Ion is relatively new, has there been many complaints about this in terms of defects? Has it lived up to its promises and expectations? How has it performed for those that run and create games and graphical applications (particularly those that are using it for D3D 10/11 and GL 3X programming and applications)? You might want to post this in the hardware forum here on gamedev.net. That's where everyone posts stuff like you have posted. :)

EDIT: (This forum is more for the beginners questions, and these sort of questions are asked in the hardware forum)

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

OK, moving to Hardware

So what do you guys think about Nvidia's Ion?

Anyone tried building and running D3D 11/GL 3X applications on them yet?

If so, how was the performance?
Christmas fast approaching, is hp 311 or any other nvidia ion a good investment?
