I'd also like to have a great remake of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I know many DS titles have come close.... but nothing has really come close to the depth found in SOTN. Perhaps it's the system it's one that deals with it.

like the one on XBLA?

From what I've seen that's not a remake, its a port.

I would love to play a sequel to Diablo 1 that doesn't suck.

Errr..what was your problem with Diablo II? Most of the PC-gaming world loved it to death and thousands are still playing it today. Hell, it still sells in a pack at Best Buy for $39.99 today.

Deus-Ex might look nice if they upgraded it to modern graphics and animation.

There's the HDTP project. I don't think it'll be modern because I think it's limited by the engine, but it's a bit of a refresh to give you a taste of what you're dreaming of. (I haven't seen it because I haven't had much luck running Deus Ex with OpenGL under Wine.)
I'll put my crusty old vote in for Starflight or Star Control. But thankfully for my current project there's only a snowball's chance in hell someone will try to make a non-cinematic, non-flight sim space RPG (yes, I'm sneering at you Mass Effect, with your piddly wittle postage stamp planets-- ever hear of procedural generation????).

I hope they do a GOOD sequel (or even a remake with better graph) of Chrono Trigger.
I'd like to see a remake of Omikron:the Nomad Soul, ever since I played it I'm amazed there's been so little talk about this game (anybody even heard of it?). It was an amazingly cinematic adventure game with a beautifull semi-free roaming city with several districts, apartment complexes and shops. You actually really had the feeling of slowly meeting the underground resistance with their hidden bars and forbidden music etc. Of course my pc at the time had major difficulty handling my preferred graphics settings!

The upcomming Heavy Rain also by Quantic Dream looks very promising, but I think exploring will be limmited to whatever scene you're playing. :(

PS: WOOOOT! I just checked Quantic Dreams wikipedia page and it says the next game on their list is... : Omikron 2!!!!

I am all out of troll food. But maybe you'd like a nice salad instead?

dude yeah, good call.

I'd like either a Star Tropics III or a remake of the original. And Blaster Master really should already have been remade in 3D.
