.amr file Conversion
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone (particularly those involved in iPhone development) have ever used the format of .amr for music? If so, could anyone possibly suggest any programs/software that would be able to convert from .wav/.mp3 to .amr? Also, if there are any pro's and con's to using .amr files (such as poor looping, etc.) please let me know :) Many thanks, James

To be honest, I've never heard of AMR let alone used it in any game developement. Most of iphone dev is done with WAV, AAC(MP4), MP3 or CAF (also WAV format) - at least on the projects I've done. I've also done some work with MOD formats too - but not so many titles.

I second yjbrown's comments. I've only used MP3 and WAV myself.
