Hi,
Maybe I''m asking a stupid question, but do you honestly not know that there are English manuals available? And another thing: Discussing the PS2 on a public forum is not possible. Almost all information is still confidential. Perhaps you''re just asking for e-mail buddies, but how are you going to check that those ''buddies'' have legitimate access to PS2 materials?
Just curious.
- Jacco.

I don''t know how much the ps2 dev kit is but it''s probably very expensive and you''ll have to contact sony directly to get it. You wont find anything online! Id be prepaired for an cost of at least $1000

Well, an actual dev-kit used to cost $20,000 american. It went down to $15,000 I believe. I heard something about them releasing a much cheaper version in Japan for home developers, with the docs included (in japanese). I don't think they've announced an american release. And Jacco, I think that a person who knew enough to bullshit about this, and wanted to, without actually knowing it, would be very rare. But then again, there are a lot of idiots out there.

Sony Japan released about 300 kits containing Linux, harddrive, connections, keyboard, full docs and libs. They sold out almost immediately.
