Has anyone had experience with finding a job in New York? I am wondering how hard it would be to find a job as an A.I programmer in New York.

Maybe this site will help? You could shoot off resumes to the 40 listed companies it shows. The site's not too good, but 40 companies in New York City is a decent start. (Note that some are publishers, not developers)

I would only email a couple studios, ones you dont really want the job for. Have then bust your balls about your resume and grill you with some test questions but ultimately not hire you.

You need to find a technical recruiting company who works with the developers in your area. They'll be able to get you an interview the next day, rather than you fighting through a stack of emails.
