I'm having trouble deciding between 2 laptops I'm want to buy, the Qosmio F50 or the Qosmio X300, the main difference between them are their graphics cards, the 9200M GS vs. 9700M GTS. all other aspects of the pc are comprimisable I believe. anyway, what do think pay big money for better graphics or less for graphics that are all right. maybe the 9200 card is above average anyway. I'm not sure that's why I'm asking opinion. Thanks -Pixeltor-
What are your goals for your laptop? Personally I much rather have a beefy desktop for graphics stuff, and a light netbook to carry around.

I was going to reccommend the Gateway P-7811 FX - it has a 9800m GTS video card and runs native 1920x1200 resolution, with everything high performance (DDR3 ram, 1066 FSB, 7200rpm HD, P8400 Core 2 duo, etc) . I have one, and love it - screaming fast, and runs all my D3D stuff faster than my desktop. I got mine from Best Buy for about $1250 US. Unfortunately, I just checked Best Buy's website, and they no longer have it listed (they have a similar gateway, but it does not run as high a resolution), but you can probably still get one off of e-bay, or possibly at a local Best Buy. Good luck.
Wow that gateway is amazing, I live In cananda though, not sure how easy it would be to order it. I'm looking at the Gateway P-7805u
Also make sure before picking something to do a quick search of 9800m on newegg.

Most are toshiba too if that's what you were after. (Also look up the reviews if you find a laptop you want to buy. Some might have problems that aren't obvious).

This one might be better then the high price one you linked in every possible way.
9800m, 2.26 ghz, 320 GB 7200 RPM HD, also has 4 GB of RAM...

I only use a laptop so I'd go big and get the best of the best, but that's just me. Also research things as much as you can. Look for reviews and everything. You don't want to accidentally buy a laptop that will brick quickly or overheat.

woah, thats pretty intense too.

but I heeded Talroth's advice and went for the smaller, less expensive laptop, which I'm very happy with, it hasnt given any lag with games yet. although my games are a bit old (halo, splinter cell).

Thanks for the advice.
