Hello... JoBe on daniweb.com suggested that I searched this forum for AI-developers.... so I hereby do that! I've revived an older posting about the AI project (see below) because the scientific magazine, PhysicaPlus, have recently published one of my articles, which have revived my own faith in the project. The article hypothesize a universal learning principle, a principle that can be verified using an artificial organism residing in a computer. So far we have a working pilot implementation in C++ of the organism... a future link to me with version 2 of the organism would be received with gratitude and much interest! Since we have decided to create the system on open source terms, your drive towards this should be interest and an almost aggressive desire to experience real artificial intelligence!
