Vivaty just release Vivaty Studio for free. I haven't used this myself but it might become another great asset for people trying to break into 3d modeling and animation. According to some info that was posted talking about it on another site it should be compatible with quite a few other programs as well in some way or another. So if you want to check it out here is the link to it. Vivaty Studio Maybe someone can try it out and post their reviews there on the thread.
I just downloaded and installed it. My first impression is that it seems to have a pretty standard interface. Then I tried to navigate my viewports... and discovered that I have no idea how to do so. I tried Maya style, XSI style, and Max style. The most I could figure out what that my mouse scroll wheel zooms in and out. I decided to look for some sort of preference to view/change the navigation settings, but I didn't find anything. I then tried clicking on help, which took me to a wiki that seemed to relate to a different product.

Running through the menus Vivaty seems to have quite a few features and a relatively clean interface, but I have to idea how to navigate the viewports.

Zero, can you post screenshots? The site only has a tiny one.
Here's a snapshot of the default layout -
