Can anyone recommend any good 2d game pixel art tutorials? I am going to take a break from programming(I've been doing it so much just the thought of it is making me sick), so I am interested in doing pixel art. the art I make for my games now suck, and was made in a hurry. I will be dedicated to game art and not do things so fast anymore. NOTE: Yes I read the sticky's for this category, but I found that most of the links for tutorials were for general drawing, or modeling.
There's more if you go to the Articles section under Resources, there's a small list of Sprite and Tile related articles. The ones I think are the most useful are these:

Most pixel art tutorials cover the same basic things, could I ask what program you're going to be using?

Mostly photoshop. Maybe some GIMP if I need it.
Well there's Creating minimal pixel art with Photoshop here on gamedev, along with Creating good game art when your not an artist. You could also try looking around Pixeljoint.
