Also, as stupid as it sounds, the StarCraft map editor trigger system is similar to working with object oriented programming. Learning to manipulate it to do anything that''s possible with the StarCraft engine can help you understand how you can manipulate C++ Functions. It helped me a lot.

what ??? .. what? ?? .. c++ from starcraft??

{ Stating the obvious never helped any situation !! }

I learned how to do smooth scrolling from watching Super Mario Bros.

I learned 2D rotation and translation by watching a screensaver.

I know programming well enough that I don''t need source to pull C++ from something I see or use.
