God this is funny! I almost would rather read this thread than watch Happy Gilmore! =) Na just cast disintegrate on Rodney!!! I have completed one semester of C++ and have read a good portion of my C++ Primer Plus by Mitchell Waite Signature Series book and still don't say that I know how to code a 3d engine! I might be able to do a Text RPG game but even 2d is quite hard to grasp just yet! I am doing simple shapes and objects in GDI in win32 and just started OpenGL with Glut! So 21days and he is all of a sudden John C. or Tim Sweeney? Well by GOD he should start his own software company and put Q3 and UT to shame! Hell even Giants should be a walk in the park with 21days of C++ anyone can do it right!? I mean write the next Q4 or Unreal 3 engine? =) Sorry just making fun of how people think learning to code is so easy because of some book they bought! It’s like knowing the alphabet but not knowing how to pronounce words or spell correctly or know the meaning of the words! Their how about that for an analogy?

I have seen a few of our, and I use the term loosely, friend, Rodneys posts and it seems he will start a thread with one post and never make another post again. Have you guys ever taken the time to think that Rodney might just be a prank that some jackass regular in the forum thought up as a laugh and just created a second user Id and started posting anoying messages?
Is it just me or is that what this seems like?

Click here for info on Noober. Go down a bit and it's the "Noober is a pest" quest. Noober was also in the town of Nashkel, I got the name mixed up but still remembered the exact area where I met him.

I think that agree w/ Armed and Hammered. This guy has to be a prank. I remember Renegade doing something similar in #GameDev (IRC), and it was pretty funny.

The only hole I see in this, actually, is that when the GD guys ban him, they ban his IP, so if he really was one of the constructive members of this soceity playing a prank, that constructive member would be banned, also. I wouldn''t want to be banned just to play a prank.

So, my conclusion is that he legitmatly is a slow-head who lacks the patience necessary to achieve anything with programming.
