Hi Rick,

Great atmosphere you have created with the music. Very nice job. On 2/3 of the Menu Music submission 2 piece I had some small stutterings and it was not playing in its full spectrum. Almost if it was overcompressed. I tried it a few times since I thought it was maybe due to loading, but it kept doing it.
That is the only sidenote I have. Otherwise great job and it catches a good atmosphere.

Keep up the nice work!

Thanks Jaap,

Great feedback. In these rough mixes, the second cut has some harmonic distortion in the low end that I will have to pull back for the compression to not freak out.

These mixes are meant for a 5.1 mix that I squashed into a stereo mix.

Thank you for takng the time to listen!

Hi there Bassman. I fondly remember some of your soundscapes you showed us a while back. (The loader pad # 2 is one of my favs!)

As always, you have a very commercial-ready sound. With the mix, it's a bit distortion heavy for my taste, but for a menu theme it will probably work out nicely because it won't be heard for extended periods of time. It's a nice 'attention-getter', that's for sure!

For Crits, the piano could probably stand to be a little softer starting out and slowly gather intensity until the drums enter. That's my preference as the piano kind of jarred my ears a little at first. Some pianisimmo dynamics and softer playing might be really nice. A crossfade might be nice!

I would agree with Jaap that the mix overall sounds a bit over-compressed. However, it's a very cool mix and I wish you good luck!
This is quality music, have you even considered scoring for a theoretical game, then package up the music made and reselling it to indies that want to use your music under a business model similar to partners in rhyme?
Thank you eedok for the idea, it's a great one. I will take that into consideration. It would be allot of fun to do, I would just need to figure out a business model for that!

I did the final mix for delivery (sans distortion) and I am excited to see it in the mod.

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Menu music 1 dosn't exactly sound like menu music- it sounds like "Sneaking around" the second one i really like and definately sounds like menu music.

Both are incredible samples and would work perfectly for a sort of spy game.
I totally agree. We went with the second one for the menu and are now proceeding into game play and title. I found in the commercial and film industry it is always best to have one they don't like!

Thank you XisZ for the valuable feedback!
