well... there is a formula for solving second grade equations (you surely know it...). my question his: how do I write the +- stuff in c++? "C++? Pain in the ass! Use OBERON instead..."

You mean like Quadratic? And when you say +-, you mean ±?

±x is a branch, isn''t it. + and -. From implementation point of view that is. So you''ll have to separate them manually, C won''t do it automatically. So code the positive bit, then negative bit separately.

If I''m answering to a completely wrong question, then I don''t know... I can''t help then.
