Post-Play'em - MarioKart: Double Dash
Well, I'm fully ready to be torn apart. This is the first attempt I have made in doing this sort of thing. I have started a blog entitled Post-Play'em: Observations on Game AI. It is specifically for posting my observations on the AI of games that I have played. My first review is for a game that my family and I have beat the snot out of for 4 years... MarioKart: Double Dash for GameCube. It's not terribly technical like a research paper. It's more of a walkthrough description of some of the points I noticed. I chose this game precisely because I wasn't going to get too deep and this was my first time doing it. Ease into it and all. I have a list of games that I am thinking of analyzing soon. Look that over if you like. I would love to have your comments (either here or on the blog itself). Also, to help me out, if you happen to be a Digger, use the Digg box on the page. If you use another aggregator, could you submit it for me? (I plan on adding a multi-submit tool soon.) And if you have your own, I would love a reference from your blog as well. (Am I asking for too much?) Anyway, thanks a lot folks!
