Beginner/newbie/juststarting/veryearly
I like to read ahead and get an idea of what I am about to tackle when it comes to programming. Like all others I head towards 3d engine and network multi user stuff but am only just finishing classes in C++. I cannot find any information on the internet for the next step of having a simple OpenGL library or networking library. Also I want to design for gamecube but haven''t got the first clue of how to do it. Why is there no information out there?

I have not idea about the GameCube...

to program for a console u have to be a development team and pay the console manufacturer (Nintendo in the case of the Game Cube)to get loaned a development kit.
i think so anyway

You can find compilers for colnsoles. But most likely you have to learn the asm for that processer. But if you look you can find some compilers, but I highly dought that you can get a compiler for the Game Cube, unless you join some development team. It is too new of a system.
You can develope for the playstation Net Yaroze console if you can get your hands on one - they are no longer for sale!. The PS2 might have a dev kit for the home enthusiast too but we will have to wait and see on that one.
