True,but even if they did find investment a year ago, they still would have died out.How could they have competed with a console who''s advertisment campaign alone was $500M? And I think consumers would love to get free games.But if that''s all that''s coming out,then Indrema is doomed right from the beggining! They rely on royalties to survive,just like all console comanies. And there are only a handful of games out there that would sell on Linux.
Personally,I think the Indrema came out a little too soon.The market for Linux games is piss-poor bad (Don''t believe me? Ask John Carmack) If there were strong Linux game sales,then this implies that developers are anxious to program games for the OS and that would have saved the Indrema console since it would have the backing of the developers.But alas,like I said,Linux game sales are bad (compared to Windows games) and the Indrema failed.Too bad though.I would have liked to take a crack at it (I want to do some Linux 3D programming since I program OpenGL)
