I am currently designing a game for class and I am doing a top down shooter remake of Raiden. I am having such a hard time finding overhead ship sprites and maps. If anyone has seen these around somewhere can you please post. Thanks everyone!!

I am not mean it rude, but how about to use Google. I just tried a few searches and it came up with many sites with sprites.

Red no rudeness taken. As for searching on Goggle, I spent three hours yesterday and a descent amount of time days prior trying to find Raiden sprites and no luck. If you look closer at what you found on those sites, I would put money on it that they are Mortal Combat Raiden sprites, which I have found a plethora of. My problem is I am unable to come across any top-down shooter raiden sprites. Hence why I posted here.

Alpha_ProgDes I have seen that link, and I am still currently going through, but I am reaching the end of that sprites post and that was when I decided to try and post here, before I need to get into photoshop and make my own. They gave us two weeks to design and implement all this stuff in our game, and I was hoping to focus more on the coding and not so much the sprites. Unfortunatly things are taking a turn for the worst.

Again, if anyone has any direction, or possibly you know of another game much like Raiden that I may have more luck with pls post. Thanks all. Kind of wierd I am having such a hard time finding sprites for such an old game. h well...on to more searching.

I found a couple of sprites from Raptor(also well known top-down shooter). I think it was at www.gsarchives.net

Another suggestion would be to use a graphic program like photoshop. Take a couple of blueprints from

or

and paint them like you wish.
