Exporting .x file from Blender, doesn't have texture
I've got a textured sphere in Blender and I'd like to export it to a .x file. I did so using the exporter but it doesn't include the texture file. It just shows up as a grey sphere in my game, no texture. I checked the .x file, and the texture file isn't listed in there, so its not being exported.
There must be something I'm doing wrong in Blender.
Thanks for the help,
Galax
It may require either the texture set with the UV window, or the material+texture set with the buttons>material section, so try both. Probably the second one.

I always export a text .x file and manually add the texture files. If I plan to multitexture I just add multiple textures in the quotes and my engine parses the textures out.
I'm not an expert with Blender so this is a guess, but have you uv mapped the texture? Take a look at the "UV Unwrapping & Texturing" section of the BlenderWiki manual

Thanks guys, as questors_endgame suggested, the texture had to be set through the UV Window.
