Under my typically use it''s about 1 hour (SP4).
Does everyone else have this problem(it crashing about once an hour!)? It happens at work & at home... very frequently when I hit F7 to incrementally compile. Do I have a virus, or are both my installations whacked?

I hit F7 all the time and it has never crashed by doing that.
(Well, actually it did crash one time but that was because there were faulty commands used in a post build step..)
Maybe your code is too buggy?
