I want to know what is it CVS ? We see it every time in the open source site .
Its a source repository system that allows different programmers to work on a single project at the same time© Several projects use it as it is one of the best ones around and it is developed using cvs itself I beleive© Projects such as mozilla, wine, linux and many open source drivers/apps/tools use cvs©

CVS = Concurrent Versioning System. It''s like Visual Sourcesafe, only cheaper There''s a great book about it, Open Source Development using CVS which tells you everything you need to know about it.
I'm reminded of the day my daughter came in, looked over my shoulder at some Perl 4 code, and said, "What is that, swearing?" - Larry Wall
CVS is cool. Do not use Visual SourceSafe - it is the most aggravating thing since bread which does not slice perfectly. CVS or in fact RCS is easier to use, and positively chilling.
