Beginner question
I'm very interested in getting into 3D animation but the only problem is that I can't draw at all. Is being able to draw a necessary skill to be successfull at 3D animating?
not realy, i used to be bad at drawing becouse i could never do perspectives properly so i started doing 3d work and i did just fine, but if you want to know for sure give it a try
blender 3d
(though i actually learned a lot about perspective from doing 3d)

Everyone can draw, just as different levels.
Its time, practice and learning. Don't be defeated by it.
Draw a little often and you will see improvements.
Plus you don't need a PC to do it. Even Doodling is worth while.
You don't have to be great at drawing when doing 3d, but it does help
improve your visual understanding. The reverse is also true, looking at something and translating it into 3d will help your drawing.
Start with simple objects just as you would with drawing.
Don't expect to be making perfect 3d characters any time soon -
but you might be on your way towards it.

If you want to do anything of considerable complexity and quality you will most likely want to improve your drawing skills. I've done pretty well for myself in the industry considering my lack of traditional art skills, but in hindsight I wish I would have devoted more time to drawing and sculpting. As an animator it's probably not as critical, but still beneficial.
