Hello everybody, I currently work in the games industry and have a interview in the next few days for an internal position as an Assistant Producer. As I'm preparing as thoroughly as possible for this I'm looking for any and all extra information of preparation material regarding interviews for an AP position. Can anybody point me in the direction of some info? I've tried google but can't find anything worthwhile. What I'm looking for basically is docs on day to day tasks, expectations and possible some test questions from various other companies. If anyone could help it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
Your first interview will probably be very general. Who are you, where do you want to be in 5 years, why do you want to work at this company, etc. Dress well, have a smile on your face, have you resume in hand, and don't be nervous!

Good luck! :)

You won't find any information about interviews.

You won't find any information about test questions. But you can read up on the producer job at http://www.sloperama.com/advice/lesson42.htm and http://www.igda.org/breakingin/career_paths.htm

But the fact that you're going to the interview probably means that you're already regarded as a serious candidate. Like the other poster said, go and be yourself.
