i know i have asked and said this before, but i have no skills in photoshop and am not getting good anytime soon. so i have a contest, if you want to call it that? its just for fun. the contest will be to see who can make the best poster/banner promoting the broad music genre of "rock". the only requirements are that it has to be a banner or poster ,promote rock, and you have to like rock or know something about rock. with not many requirements this lives room for creativity. animation is also aloud, such as a scrolling banner or flashing words? the poster/banner will be posted on my website and the person who wins i will need some information from them to give them credit for the artwork. but before people start making there entries i need 2 judges. first 2 people to email me asking to be a judge will be the judges, but you also have to let me know why you want to be a judge for this contest and what makes you a good judge for rock promotion posters/banners. after i have my four judges the contest will begin the next day. i will post a beginning date for the contest. the contest will last for 30 days from the starting date. giving people PLENTY of time to come out with quality products. this thread will only be used for judging(judges only), posting the banners/posters, and also anyone who has opinions on peoples banners/posters to help the judges out a little. my reason for doing this contest is because i am a big rocker myself and play bass guitar(fender jazz bass[red/black]) and i am in a band currently in the making. if anyone has any suggestions on how to make they contest better, more legit, wants to be a judge, or anything else regarding the contest you may email at bakerboarder5o@yahoo.com. with the fact that you don't have a real prize and the fact that mostly everyone here is busy workin on thier own projects, i doubt you'll be able to find many people. i would lower the number of judges to two atleast to make it easier to fill thier positions.
