Questions about EW/QL and it's use.

So, I want to do some orchestra music. And I was wondering what EW/Q- is. Is it a library containing each and every tune from C to C in hundreds of instruments, or is it a collection of ready-made melodies? What programs do I use with it? Thanks for clearing things up![smile]
Hope I was helpful. And thank you if you were!
East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra is a library of VST sounds. It doesn't cover "C to C," though, just the notes each instrument can play. The cheapest version covers most commonly used instruments, with multiple articulations for each.

For the programs...I don't know. Something that can use VST.

Sequencers such as cubase, sonar, and fl studio can load ewqlso products as well as other VST software.
Cool Edit Pro 2.0 too? I remember my music teacher saying it was good because of it's VST plugin support.

Thanks for the clear-up. [smile]

I see Sonar as the most inspiring software for Midi Editing. Use Staff View.
@ Pedro - It is a great piece of software. I prefer it on the PC as well. For mac though I use Digital Performer. Can't do audio as well as other sequencers, but the MIDI is easy and great.

Thanks, but I doubt I will buy Sonar for 960$. I already have Cubase SL 3, so I guess I'll use it, it's dangerously complicated though.

Thanks again for answering my questions! [smile]

VST effects only, I believe.
