I want to attend the lectures, no matter what. I'll get my book in a week or two(I'm trying my best). If someone has an e-book version of the book, could they please PM me? I wanna hang in there until I get my own book!!

People, please read the original post, and the numerous posts that have followed which explain...
There are no lectures
If you do not have the book, you'll just be watching a thread per week of discussion about the contents of a book you dont have...and you'll likely be extremely lost. If you wish to participate and learn something, you'll need the book.
Cheers!

I'm interested in participating. I messed around with C++ a couple summers ago, I finished the entire C++ For Dummies:5th Edition book, but I don't remember a lot of it....nor was my understanding of math as high as it is now, since I have accomplished more math since then. So hopefully I will do better this time.
I've also been considering Java, because the AP Computer Science exam is about the Java language, and since we aren't offering the class next year, I would be taking the AP test on my own accord..so I will be wanting to do that sometime XD Oh well, C++ can come first.

My book just came today from Amazon. With shipping I saved like $10 compared to the B&N price. I took a good long read into Day 1 and I can't wait until the workshop begins.
Amazon only just shipped my book today. Probably not a big deal since the early chapters are likely to be pretty simplistic and not require the alloted week to absorb, so it should be here by the time I'll really need as much time as possible for study.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, kaydash. But you can 'read the book free for 14 days' online. I think you can also subscibe and read it forever online. I *think*.

Now, now, now. You wouldn't want any of us to do something illegal, would you?
